Is UGW really better than PUBG Mobile Lite?

PUBG Mobile has always been the king in battle royale games for high-end devices since its launch in 2017, for the lower-end devices from the month of July 2019, PUBG Mobile Lite is the throne bearer. But game companies are not holding back, and for the lower RAM devices, multiple games have been launched, and one game that is giving tough competition to this lite version is UGW.

What is UGW?

UGW is a game that is totally based on Indian localities and style. It features characters based on Indian attire, locally inspired maps, and even includes Indian outfits for the game characters.

Both PML & UGW allow optional resource packs, which means it is up to you whether you want to download the resource pack for additional maps and outfits. But still, PUBG Mobile Lite requires less storage than UGW.

FPS Stability and Heating

PUBG Mobile Lite is highly optimized &offers very stable gameplay even on very basic hardware. UGW also focuses on optimization, but in my experience & team’s experience, it runs better on the mid-range devices.

In texture quality, there is a huge difference between PUBG Mobile Lite & UGW, because PML uses simplified textures to keep performance smooth, but UGW uses higher detail textures with vibrant lighting, making the game look new and attractive, which makes it a little bit difficult for lower-end devices to run it smoothly.

Art Style Differences

There is also a significant difference between PUBG Mobile Lite & UGW, because the former one has a realistic tone & the latter one, UGW, has a more dramatic and indian type vibe.

Gameplay Experience

Maps and Modes

If we compare both games in the Maps & Modes genre, then PUBG Mobile Lite has more maps & modes than UGW. One thing that makes UGW different is that it also has event-based modes and big games.

At last, the conclusion is that if your phone is very low-end and you want maximum smoothness, PUBG Mobile Lite is still the best choice, but if your device has mid-range features, then UGW is really good.
